Challenge status quo and uncover hidden innovation possibilities through key learnings, tools and best practices of some of the biggest Danish innovation labs

Challenge status quo and uncover hidden possibilities through key learnings, tools and best practices of some of the biggest Danish innovation labs

During the last couple of years, Cromian has worked together with several companies in how to innovate and also disrupt themselves. Through the disciplines of extensive investigation, analysing, ideation, testing, pretotyping, prototyping, iterating, etc., we help the companies uncover some of the hidden potential within their organisation. Together we discover, define, develop and help you deliver your targets using the original Double Diamond Method to structure the entire innovation process.

Here are a few of the disciplines we make use of during the process:

Pretotyping is an early experimental sample of a proposed solution to validate and test the concept/idea/product/design

Prototyping  is a method to test a concept/idea/product/design quickly by creating a very simplified version

Wireframes  is a low-fidelity way of presenting and testing a design

Creating a Mockup is a high-fidelity way of visually presenting a product/solution, usually with a full-size model of the design

The Design Sprint is a time-constrained process for solving problems through prototyping, designing and testing ideas

UX review is an inspection of a website or an app to identify usability problems

Visual design is a way to shape and improve the user experience with use of typography, illustrations, layouts, shapes, colors etc.

Usability testing is a practice of evaluating the user experience of a product, app or website

The Double D’s

We use our own slightly altered version of the well-known Double Diamond Model in most of our processes when working for and with customers. Instead of creating a new framework for every project, we created this kind-of “white-label solution” that we can apply and fit to all our customers and own frameworks. Bear in mind, not all 4 phases might be equally important to the individual customers. E.g. some customers have made extensive research beforehand, and thus Discover Phase might be a little redundant, etc.
